The working principle of refrigeration air dryers

When the compressed air temperature drops, the moisture in that compressed air is converted into liquid water by condensation. That liquid water is then collected by the air/water separator and drained from the system by the drain valve. Dry compressed air is then sent ahead through the system to be used or filtered further.
